Anti-tumor B-cell therapy

B cell based immunotherapy is a promising new approach in targeting glioblastoma. We developed a B-cell therapy (Bvax) that utilizes both the cellular and humoral properties of B cells to kill tumor cells.

Bvax utilizes two key mechanisms for its anti-tumor effects. The first is the generation of tumor specific antibodies. These antibodies have the potential to elicit antibody-dependent cytotoxicity, and understanding their structures and binding specificities allow us to identify novel therapeutic targets.
